Teaching My Signature Course

MTRL 472 Welding and Joining of Materials

I return each year during the Fall term to teach my signature course on Welding and Joining of Materials. I focus on preparing engineering students for the practicalities of modern welding industry, covering everything from theory to AWS (American Welding Society) and CSA (Canadian Standard Association) standards. The course includes a hands-on lab where I mentor students in using computational tools to solve industrial challenges, ensuring the safety and reliability of commercial infrastructure.
